Base Head Spa Treatment
The place to start, and the treatment most of our guests end up keeping. We begin by looking. A magnified camera reads your scalp — follicle condition, oil production, and where the tension has settled — and what it finds shapes the rest of the hour. Warm oil comes next, worked in slowly, with pressure through the base of the skull and down into the neck. Most people stop talking around the tenth minute. Then the cascade. Water held at body temperature falls over the scalp while the room stays dark, and the only thing you have to do is lie still. It runs for as long as it takes, which is not a fixed number of minutes. We finish with a cleanse, a dry and a style, and a second scan so you can see the difference rather than take our word for it. Then the quiet room, and hojicha, for as long as you want. What to expect Consultation and scalp reading — 10 min Warm oil and pressure work — 20 min The cascade — 15 min Cleanse, dry and style — 15 min

Scalp Revival Treatment
For a scalp that has been through something — product build-up, heat, color, stress, or a long stretch of not sleeping well. The longer version, and the more thorough one. It begins the same way, with the scan, but what follows is built around correction rather than maintenance. Correction, not maintenance A clay-based clarifying mask lifts build-up the daily wash never reaches. Steam opens the follicles. Then an extended drainage sequence through the scalp, temples, neck and shoulders — the part that tends to put people to sleep — followed by the cascade, longer than in the Base treatment. A treatment serum is chosen from what the scan showed and worked in by hand. We finish with the second scan, a dry and a style. Guests who come in tired usually leave saying they feel lighter rather than more awake. That is the intended result. What to expect Consultation and scalp reading — 10 min Clarifying mask and steam — 20 min Drainage and pressure sequence — 25 min The cascade — 20 min Serum, dry and style — 15 min Pairs well with shiatsu: see The Reset.
